St. Andrew's and St Laurence's Churches exist to worship God and serve the communities of Soham and Wicken. This website brings together information about both churches.
Local Soprano, Jenny Surridge will be singing a collection of solo songs from Handel's Messiah through to My Fair Lady and the Sound of Music. She will be accompanied by Peter Scott on the piano and organ.
No tickets required; there will be a retiring collection in aid of the church renovations.
The next Bishop of Ely will be the Right Reverend Stephen Conway, currently Bishop of Ramsbury in the Salisbury Diocese. He succeeds the Rt Revd Anthony Russell who retired earlier this year. For the full story see the Diocesan Newsletter here.
Please pray for the people of Pakistan and for the aid workers trying to help the victims of the flooding there. The worst floods in the region for 80 years have killed at least 1,600 people and affected about 12 million others.
You can also help by donating to the Disasters Emergency Relief Committee - an umbrella organisation for collecting donations to help in large scale disasters such as this. Member organisations include Christian Aid, Oxfam and Action Aid.
