The builders are coming a bit later still!
Monday 21 December 2009 at 4:45 pmThe builders have been delayed by the snow and ice so should now be starting on the re-ordering on January 25th.
The asbestos survey showed up a small amount of asbestos in the old heating system under the floor but nothing that will be disturbed by the work so it is safer to leave it where it is. We are now aware of it so will be able to tell anybody who comes to work on the building in future where it is.
Cleaning - help needed -inevitably there will be more dirt and dust around the church while the work is going on so if anybody can help Judith clean up on a Saturday please let her or the vicar know. If we have a good long list of people who can help then we won't have to take our turn too often!
